Welcome:

Historically, art has developed in a great extent through the creation of guilds and the aid from generous benefactors. Just ask the masters of Rennaissance.

Traditionally, and in the last decade local artists from Geelong, the Surf Coast and the Otways, have had difficulty in finding spaces to publicly show their work. Interestingly enough, history finds its way to repeat itself in a different context.

Bell Street, in Torquay (Victoria, Australia) seems to be the cradle for a movement that has been gestating and gaining a considerable amount of respect and interest from diverse audiences. The name of this movement: Great Ocean Road Artscapes.

NEWS: Visit our BELLS BEACH AND BEYOND series of exhibitions. Open 7 days a week, featuring original works of local photographers, and running from 24th March through until Sunday 12th April.  ENTRY IS FREE!!!Exhibitions/Pages/Bells_and_Beyond.html
